Summary: TelePrompt Live is a teleprompter app for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information. Your scripts are stored only on your device.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how TelePrompt Live ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our application. By using TelePrompt Live, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

TelePrompt Live does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, or any contact information. Specifically:

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
We do not collect device identifiers or advertising IDs.
We do not upload your scripts or recordings to our own servers.

Your scripts and app preferences are stored locally on your device only, and are never transmitted to us or any third party.

3. Camera, Local Network, and Photo Library

TelePrompt Live requests the following permissions, only for the features described:

Camera - used for Camera Overlay mode, which displays your script over a live camera preview on screen. Camera video is processed on your device and is never uploaded or stored by us.
Local Network - used to discover and pair with other Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch) running TelePrompt Live on the same Wi-Fi network, so you can remotely control script playback. This connection stays entirely on your local network and does not pass through any external server.
Photo Library (Add Only) - used only when you choose to save a recording made with Camera Overlay to your Photos library. We cannot read or access any other photos or videos on your device.

TelePrompt Live does not request access to your microphone, contacts, or location, and does not use speech or voice recognition.

4. In-App Purchases

TelePrompt Live offers optional subscriptions and a one-time purchase to unlock Pro features. All purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment card details; this information is handled entirely by Apple.

5. Data Storage

All scripts, settings, and preferences created in the App are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the App permanently removes all locally stored data.

6. Third-Party Services

TelePrompt Live does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services. The only Apple frameworks used are Multipeer Connectivity (local device pairing), WatchConnectivity (Apple Watch remote), and StoreKit (in-app purchases) - all of which are Apple's own first-party frameworks operating under Apple's privacy practices.

7. Children's Privacy

TelePrompt Live does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is rated 4+ on the App Store.

8. Your Rights

Because we do not collect personal data on our own servers, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our end. All your data lives on your device and can be removed at any time by deleting your scripts or uninstalling the App.
