Summary: Snap Privacy is a fully offline photo metadata privacy tool. We do not collect, store, upload, transmit, or share your photos, metadata, or personal information. All inspection and cleaning happens exclusively on your device.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Snap Privacy ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our iOS application. Snap Privacy is designed to work entirely on your device — no account, no server upload, no analytics, and no tracking.

By using Snap Privacy, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Snap Privacy does not collect any personal information. Specifically:

We do not require you to create an account or sign in.
We do not collect your name, email address, contact information, device identifiers, or advertising IDs.
We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or crash-reporting services.
We do not upload photos, metadata, files, settings, or usage data to any server.
We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties.

3. Photo Library Access

Snap Privacy requests photo library access so you can select photos to inspect and clean metadata. Photo access is used only for the features you initiate, such as viewing embedded EXIF/GPS metadata, cleaning selected metadata fields, or saving cleaned copies.

Your photos never leave your device. The App does not upload, transmit, or remotely process any photo or metadata.

4. Data Stored Locally

The App may store the following data locally on your device only:

App Settings — theme preference, default clean rule, save location, and tutorial state.
Temporary Processing Data — temporary files used while cleaning or sharing photos.

Temporary files are used only for local processing and sharing workflows. You can remove local app data by deleting the App from your device.

5. Metadata Inspection and Cleaning

Snap Privacy uses Apple system frameworks to inspect and rewrite photo metadata on-device. Cleaning removes selected metadata such as GPS location, device information, timestamps, software fields, copyright, and artist fields while preserving the original image pixels whenever supported by the file format.

6. Third-Party Services

Snap Privacy does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, social login, cloud storage, or tracking services. No data is shared with any third party.

7. Children's Privacy

Snap Privacy does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is designed as an offline utility and does not include accounts, social features, or data collection.

8. Your Rights

Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on our end. All app settings and processing data live on your device and can be removed by deleting the App.
