This Privacy Policy describes how Precise Beat Metronome ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our mobile application. Precise Beat Metronome is designed to work entirely on your device — no account, no server, no tracking.

2. Information We Collect

Precise Beat Metronome does not collect any personal information. Specifically:

All BPM settings, time signature choices, sound selections, custom presets, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS system storage (UserDefaults) and are never transmitted anywhere.

3. Background Audio Playback

Precise Beat Metronome can continue playing the metronome click after your screen locks or you switch to another app, so you can keep practicing or exercising without keeping the screen on. This is achieved using Apple's standard background audio API (UIBackgroundModes: audio). No additional data is collected or transmitted during background playback. Playback continues only while the metronome is running and stops as soon as you pause it, the auto-stop timer ends, or you close the app.

4. Haptic Vibration

The App can use your device's haptic engine to provide a vibration pulse synchronized with each beat. This feature uses Apple's standard CoreHaptics framework, requires no special permission, and does not collect or transmit any data.

5. Data Storage

All data generated by the App — your custom presets, selected sounds, time signature, BPM, and display/vibration/timer settings — is stored exclusively on your device using UserDefaults. Nothing is uploaded to any server. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data.

6. Third-Party Services

Precise Beat Metronome does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or social login services. No data is shared with any third party because no data leaves your device.

7. Children's Privacy

Precise Beat Metronome does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is safe for all ages.

8. Your Rights

Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our end. All your data lives on your device and can be removed simply by uninstalling the App.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
