Summary: Morse Code Learner is a fully offline, privacy-first educational app. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All learning progress, settings, and achievements are stored exclusively on your device.
This Privacy Policy describes how Morse Code Learner ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our iOS application. Morse Code Learner is designed to work entirely on your device — no account, no server, no tracking of any kind.
By using Morse Code Learner, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Morse Code Learner does not collect any personal information. Specifically:
All learning progress, settings, and achievement data are stored locally on your device using iOS system storage (UserDefaults) and are never transmitted anywhere.
Morse Code Learner requests access to your device camera solely to control the rear flashlight. The flashlight flashes in sync with your Morse code signals, providing tactile and visual practice feedback — just like a real Morse transmitter. The app does not capture, record, or access any photos or video. You can revoke camera permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera.
The App stores the following data locally on your device only:
This data can be cleared at any time from Settings → Data → Clear Learning Progress / Restore Default Settings, or by uninstalling the App.
Morse Code Learner synthesizes 700 Hz sine-wave tones entirely on-device at runtime using Apple's AVFoundation framework. No audio files are bundled with or uploaded from the App. The App does not use the device microphone.
Morse Code Learner does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or social login services. No data is shared with any third party.
The App uses Apple's StoreKit framework solely to display a standard App Store review prompt after certain milestones. No data is transmitted by this prompt outside of Apple's standard review request mechanism.
Morse Code Learner does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is rated 4+ on the App Store and is safe for all ages.
Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our end. All your data lives on your device and can be removed at any time by uninstalling the App or using the reset options in Settings.
