Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 3, 2026

Summary: DualCamera Lite is a privacy-first camera app. We do not require accounts, and we do not collect or sell personal information. Captured media is stored locally on your device.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how DualCamera Lite ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our mobile application. The App is designed to work on-device — no account required.

By using DualCamera Lite, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

DualCamera Lite does not require you to provide personal information such as name, email, or phone number to use the App. Specifically:

Your captured photos/videos and app preferences are stored locally on your device. The App does not require a backend account system for normal usage.

3. Camera Permission

The App requests Camera permission to provide live preview and capture photos/videos. Without Camera permission, the App cannot function as a camera.

4. Microphone Permission

The App requests Microphone permission only for recording video with audio. If you deny Microphone permission, you can still capture photos and videos without audio. You can change this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.

5. Photos Permission (Optional)

The App can save your creations to the iOS Photos library only when you enable “Auto-Save to Photos” in Export settings. In that case, the App may request Photos permission (Add-Only). If you do not grant Photos permission, creations can still be saved to the App’s internal library.

6. What We Store

DualCamera Lite stores the following data locally on your device:

7. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs. If the App uses Apple-provided system services (e.g., App Store review prompt), they are governed by Apple’s policies.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Media and preferences are stored on your device. You can delete items from the Library in-app, and uninstalling the App removes the App’s local data. If you enabled saving to Photos, items saved to Photos are managed by you in the Photos app.

9. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you have questions, contact us using the email below.

10. Your Rights

Because the App does not require an account and stores data on-device, most data management happens locally. You can remove your content by deleting it from the App’s Library (and from Photos if you saved it there).

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
