Summary: FOX Audio Extractor is a fully offline, privacy-first audio extraction app. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All video and audio processing happens entirely on your device.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how FOX Audio Extractor ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our mobile application. FOX Audio Extractor is designed to work entirely on your device — no account, no server, no tracking.

By using FOX Audio Extractor, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

FOX Audio Extractor does not collect any personal information. Specifically:

All extraction history, audio files, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS system storage (UserDefaults) and are never transmitted anywhere.

3. Photo Library Permission

FOX Audio Extractor requests access to your device photo library solely for importing videos from which you want to extract audio. We only access the specific videos you explicitly select. Selected videos are processed locally on your device. No video or audio data is uploaded or transmitted to any server. You can revoke photo library permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.

4. Photo Library (Add Only) Permission

FOX Audio Extractor requests write-only access to your photo library to allow you to save exported audio files. This permission only allows the app to add files to your library — we cannot read, modify, or delete any existing photos or videos.

5. Microphone Permission

FOX Audio Extractor requests access to your device microphone for optional audio recording features. All audio recordings are processed and stored locally on your device. Recordings are never uploaded or transmitted to any server. You can revoke microphone permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.

6. Background Audio Processing

FOX Audio Extractor continues processing audio after the screen turns off. This is achieved using Apple's standard background processing API (UIBackgroundModes: audio, processing). No additional data is collected or transmitted during background processing. The processing session is active only while an extraction or enhancement is running and stops as soon as the operation completes or you cancel it.

7. Data Storage

All data generated by the App (extraction history, exported audio files, app preferences) is stored exclusively on your device. Temporary files created during audio extraction and enhancement are automatically deleted after processing. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data.

8. Third-Party Services

FOX Audio Extractor does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or social login services. No data is shared with any third party.

9. Children's Privacy

FOX Audio Extractor does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is rated 4+ on the App Store and is safe for all ages.

10. Your Rights

Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our end. All your data lives on your device and can be removed simply by uninstalling the App or using the "Reset All Data" option in Settings.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
