CalcViz is an offline calculus tool for iPhone and iPad. It has no account, no advertising and no analytics, and it does not collect personal data.
CalcViz is published by Daibou007 Team ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to information when you use the app. It applies to the CalcViz application and nothing else.
We collect no personal information. Specifically, CalcViz does not:
CalcViz saves your work locally so the app is useful between sessions. This data stays in the app's own storage on your device and is never uploaded:
You can delete any of this at any time from within the app: history and chats can be deleted individually or cleared entirely, and deleting the app removes all of it.
CalcViz has two optional AI features — the Problem Solver and the AI Assistant. Both are off by default and neither works until you enable it and supply your own API key.
When you use them:
The provider's own privacy policy governs what they do with the text you send them. We have no visibility into it and receive no copy of it.
CalcViz collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no data is collected, no verifiable parental consent is required under COPPA. The app presents no advertising and contains no social features or user-generated content sharing.
The California Consumer Privacy Act, the GDPR and comparable regimes grant rights of access, deletion, correction and opt-out of the sale of personal information. Because CalcViz collects no personal information at all, there is nothing for us to disclose, delete, correct or sell. We do not sell or share personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months.
Your work is protected by the app sandbox and, where you have enabled it, by your device passcode and iOS data protection. API keys are stored in the Keychain with the AfterFirstUnlockThisDeviceOnly accessibility class, which keeps them off backups and off other devices.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will also be described in the app's App Store release notes.
